Adult Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
Windsor Laurelwood offers Mental Health and Chemical Dependency IOP programs that are highly structured, group therapy based for individuals struggling with mental health and/or substance use issues. Individuals referred to IOP experience significant symptoms that impair their daily lives. IOP allows the individual to be able to maintain work, school and family obligations. Program elements include group therapy, education on the disease process and random drug screening (CD only). Intensive Outpatient meets 3 times per week for 6 weeks. Day and evening programs are available for substance use. The mental health program meets in the evenings.
Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
Partial Hospitalization programs provide short term intensive behavioral health treatment for individuals experiencing psychiatric distress and/or chemical dependency issues that do not require inpatient treatment. The partial program meets five days per week for six hours per day. The goal is to help individuals gain insight into their current functioning and improve their coping skills.

The Adult Mental Health Partial is a program for individuals experiencing mental health issues. Program elements include: psychiatric / medical evaluation and medication management, group therapy, activities therapy. Group topics include: building healthy self-esteem, identification and management of feelings, assertiveness skills, effective communication skills, relationship skills, identifying and reframing negative thinking, mindfulness, stress management
Adult Chemical Dependency PHP
Adult Chemical Dependency Partial is a program for individuals with primary substance use concerns. Program elements include a CD assessment, medical evaluation, group therapy and activities therapy. Group topics include: Disease model education, triggers, relapse prevention, connection between life stressors and alcohol/other drug use, 12 steps, and improving healthy coping skills
Adult Dual Diagnosis PHP
Adult Dual Diagnosis Partial is a program for individuals with a combined Mental Health and Chemical Dependency issues. Program elements include a CD assessment, psychiatric and medical evaluation, group therapy and activities therapy. Group topics include: Disease model education, triggers, relapse prevention, connection between mental health diagnosis and alcohol/other drug use, 12 steps, improving healthy coping skills
Adolescent Mental Health PHP
Adolescent Mental health Partial Hospitalization is for adolescents ages 13 and older that are experiencing mental health issues. The goal is to assist adolescents in developing more effective coping skills by promoting mental health well-being and self-care. These skills are learned in a group setting through the use of education, discussion, roles plays and peer support. Program elements include: psychiatric / medical evaluation and medication management, group therapy and activities therapy.
